A little about Eve & The Exiles:
Eve Monsees and the Exiles Texas roots always shine through with their blend of down and dirty Blues grooves and gritty rock n roll. A 2017 partnership with Jameson Irish Whiskey as part of their newly launched «Jameson Music» series has led to festival appearances and a big boost for the band. Eve and the Exiles were one of only 10 bands chosen for this honor. Eve Monsees has been a fixture in the Austin music scene since the age of 15. Along with fellow guitarist and neighbor Gary Clark Jr, the two cut their teeth playing Blues together throughout their teenage years. Eve recently appeared along with Gary at an
Austin City Limits Hall of Fame taping sharing the stage with legends such as Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal and Billy Gibbons.
An original member of both the Fabulous Thunderbirds and LeRoi Brothers, drummer Mike Buck has toured extensively throughout his illustrious career. In addition to founding Eve & The Exiles, both Mike and Eve are also owners of the iconic Antone's Record Shop in Austin, TX.
Bassist Pat Collins (LeRoi Bothers, T. Tex Edwards) and guitarist Thierry Le Coz (Linda Gail Lewis, Joe King Carrasco) round out the line up. The four piece recently released «You Know She Did» on CD with vinyl slated to come out later in 2017.
