Realism Portrait Drawing Class, Drawing portriats from photo reference. This course work will teach methods of image transfer, creating value scale to photo reference for balance of lights, midtones, and darks, graphite application techniques to achieve sharp clean values. Focused on photo real looking portriats. The course will be taught over a 3 day span @ Hardy & Nance Studios
Discussing different drawing papers, graphite layering, erasing techinques. Creating hair and skin textures. All materials will be provided.

The course will be taught by Clinton Millsap who while at CCAD was mentored by graphite and color pencil great Lowell Tolstedt. Clinton also formerly taught at Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus Ohio, and Art Directions College Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Clinton has also traveled the world over to gathering different schools of thought on photorealism. Attending Workshops with photorealism giants of the industry Dirk Dzimirsky, Eloy Morales and airbrush giant Dru Blair.
