This legend began more than 100 years ago, when Don Melchor de Concha y Toro, founder of the Concha y Toro winery, reserved an exclusive batch of the best wines they produced for himself. To keep strangers away from this special private reserve, he spread the rumor that the Devil lived in his cellar, hence the name: Casillero del Diablo — Devil’s Cellar.
Casillero del Diablo, the official wine partner of Manchester United, will host an evening with former United goalkeeper Gary Bailey in the Studio Room, where guests will enjoy select varieties of Chile’s most complete range of wines along with beer and hors d’oeuvres.
VIP package includes access to event and admittance to official tailgate on July 20 at the Main Room of Warehouse Live.
Gary Bailey joined Manchester United in 1977 directly from playing for his University team in South Africa and within one year was their regular goalkeeper, going on to play 375 competitive games for the Red Devils and won two FA cup winners medals.
He also played twice for the England national team and was part of the squad that made the World Cup quarterfinals in Mexico in 1986.
Gary now lives in Boca Raton in Florida USA with his wife Michelle Mclean-Bailey (Miss Universe 1992) and his four children, working for BeINSport as a soccer analyst and commentator.
