The best time of year is Halloween because that means The Houston Zombie Walk will be putting on their annual Houston Halloween Festival! This year it will be taking place on Saturday, October 21, 2017, 5 pm to 10pm, on 19th Street in the Houston Heights.
The festival will feature entertainment and activities for the entire family including live music acts on the Bud Light stage, beer gardens, artist and business vendors, food trucks, costume contests and a large Kids Zone for our youngest ghosts and ghouls.
The kid’s zone will include a pumpkin patch, magician & juggling performances, carnival games, Children's Museum Slime Factory, Halloween arts and crafts, kids cartoon characters, face painting, trick or treating and a kids costume contest.
We will also be doing something we have never done before but we are super excited about this new addition to the festival. The Houston Zombie Walk Presents for one Knight only, Richard, Carrie & Friends…
THE LAST SUPPER — A pre-apocalyptic soiree for the soon to be undead. You do not want to miss this ghoulish dinner created by the one and only Richard Knight. Richard is a celebrated chef in Houston with a long history of cooking for this great city. Ticket includes: Entry to the Houston Halloween Festival from 5:00-10:00pm and an unbelievable Halloween themed 5-course family style dinner at 6:00pm plus drink pairings! Sales tax included as well. Richard is also hosting a pumpkin carving contest, so bring your favorite carved pumpkin from home and enter for a chance to win $100! Do not forget to come to dinner in your best Halloween costume!
It's going to be a great time and look at all of the exciting stuff we have going on. The festival provides a fun and safe community environment for Houston families and people of all ages to celebrate Halloween!
Tickets are only $10 AND all of that goes to charity! All proceeds from this event benefit The Houston Zombie Walk's Too Ghoul For School scholarship fund. More info on scholarships at tgfschool.org.
Children 11 and under may attend the event FREE as long as they are with a parent or guardian that has an event ticket.
