Core Power & Pranayama: 9:30am -12:00
Activating the energetic body's latent channels is an important component for the ascension of consciousness and mastery of self realization. Will power is most easily accessed in the Hatha Yoga practice by strong physical poses such as those that work the core. After illiciting strong focus through strengthening all the core muscles you will be ready for a deep experiential exploration of pranayama practices to activate your latent energy channels and move your body into a blissful state through a comprehensive set of breathing exercises. Hip Opening Secrets: 1:00-3:30pm
It's almost guaranteed your hips can discover great range of emotion, potentially releasing old patterns of memory related to emotion and giving us more choice in our direction in life instead of reacting unconsciously. The hips can be opened in various directions and often to get into the deep hip opening yoga poses requires working and stretching the hips in all directions. Inner actions are also important to get to deep positions like leg behind the head or poses like Vamadevasana.
Backbending: Set the Spine Free: 9:30am-12:00pm
Get a close look at the spine of your peers and some anatomical knowledge on how to develop a healthy and safe back bending practice. Techniques will train you to create new length through your spine, heal or recuperate from old spinal injuries, and give you a new range of freedom. A sense of energy and joy arises from this freedom which is one of the most direct ways to affect the flow of energy through the channels that help us to develop energetic practices for pranayama and kundalini meditation.
