Topic: Current Texas Legislative Session and Keeping Harris County Blue

With so much focus on Washington right now, we can't lose sight of what is going on in Austin and in Harris County.

Our speakers this month are Terri Burke, Executive Director of the ACLU of Texas and Tiffany Hogue, Policy Director of Texas Organizing Project (TOP).

Terri Burke will speak to the current legislative session in Austin, important bills on the horizon and what we can do to support/oppose these bills.

Tiffany Hogue will review Texas Organizing Project's effective activities that helped turn Harris County Blue in 2016 and what TOP is doing now and will do in the future to elect more Democrats in 2018.
